Energy Psychology Research

A Research Review of “Neurophysiological Indicators of EFT Treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress”: Another EFT Research project has been completed and published in a peer review journal. The study was conducted by Doctors Paul G. Swingle and Lee Pulos together with Mari K. Swingle and was professionally discussed in this article by EFT Master Patricia Carrington, PhD.   http://www.emofree.com/Research/accident-trauma-research-swingle.htm

Tapping therapies proving themselves in the aftermath of disasters: David Feinstein, Ph.D., has updated "Energy Psychology in Disaster Relief," an article which describes the astounding results being reported by organizations such as the Green Cross after introducing tapping into the treatment protocols following the ethnic cleansing in Rwanda and Kosovo, the tsunami in Southeast Asia, Hurricanes Rita and Katrina, and a dozen other settings.  Cases from EFTers Sophia Cayer and Roseanna Ellis are described.   http://www.emofree.com/Research/disaster-relief.htm

The Genie in Your Genes: This is an extraordinary book that many EFT'ers will welcome. For those wanting a quality document on research and validation of energy psychology tools such as EFT, this book by Dawson Church will more than fill the bill.  It can be purchased on Amazon.com.

An EFT study: Reducing anxiety in dental patients with EFT: Gratitude to Graham Temple for this impressive study involving anxiety in a dental office. Note that out of 30 patients, 100% reported a reduction in anxiety.   http://www.emofree.com/Research/graham-temple-dental-study.htm

EFT brings about 80.7% sports performance improvement: Sam Smith from Australia kept accurate data on a rugby kicking contest. The participants took free kicks from various distances and did so both before and after doing EFT. After EFT, the combined improvement was 80.7%.   http://www.emofree.com/Research/rugby-kicking-contest.htm

The results of Carol Look's eyesight experiment: In 2006, EFT Master Dr. Carol Look conducted an 8 week study wherein over 100 people followed written instructions to use EFT for a variety of emotional and vision issues.  The participants were worldwide and both the written instructions and the feedback were done via the internet.  Accordingly, this qualifies as an experiment rather than a pristinely controlled scientific study.  Nonetheless, the results are eye opening (pardon the pun).  Also, great care was taken to properly report the details and statistics regarding the experiment.   http://www.emofree.com/Research/eyesight-experiment.htm

EFT improves Minerals, Amino Acids & Vitamins: Maggie Adkins had an analysis done to determine whether any of her body's minerals, amino acids or vitamins was deficient. As Maggie explains, there were 17 deficient readings.

EFT Research: Energy Psychology: Method, Theory, Evidence by David Feinstein, Ph.D.   http://www.emofree.com/Research/feinstein-research-paper.htm

Dr. Jack Rowe's research study on the long term effects of EFT (Using Borrowing Benefits): The outcome of this study proved to be so promising that Jack's article reporting these results has been accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed, Counseling and Clinical Psychology Journal. Here, in brief, is what Jack did and what he found.   http://www.emofree.com/Research/rowe-study.htm

Clear evidence that our emotions affect our body: Dramatic photos of blood before and after applying EFT brings clear evidence that our emotions affect our body.  http://www.emofree.com/Research/Emotions-Blood.htm

Before and after photos of Rouleaux--"blood cell clumping": Rouleaux is a medical term for a condition wherein the blood cells clump together forming what looks like stacks of coins. This is an unhealthy state because the cells are not free to absorb and carry oxygen.  It is a pre-cursor to many serious diseases.   http://www.emofree.com/Research/rouleaux.htm

Articles evidencing the existence of energy meridians:  Compiled from the internet by Fred Gallo, PhD   http://www.emofree.com/Research/meridianexistence.htm

Preliminary Report of the First Large-Scale Study of Energy Psychology: In preliminary clinical trials involving more than 29,000 patients from 11 allied treatment centers in South America during a 14-year period, a variety of randomized, double-blind pilot studies were conducted.   http://www.emofree.com/Research/andradepaper.htm

Steve Wells’ Study on Phobias:  This study explored whether a meridian-based procedure, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), can reduce specific phobias of small animals under laboratory-controlled conditions. These findings suggest that a single treatment session using EFT to reduce specific phobias can produce valid behavioral and subjective effects.   http://www.emofree.com/Research/wellsphobias.htm
